Notes:
1) If your contract contains detailed quality requirements, the inspection company will carry out the inspection based on the requirements in your contract and Form 2.
2) If your contract does not contain detailed quality requirements, the inspection company will carry out the inspection based on Form 1 and Form 2.
3) If there is a conflict between Form 1 and the requirements in your contract, the requirements in your contract shall prevail.
4) If your contract does not contain detailed quality requirements and the inspection company cannot perform a quality inspection based on Form 1 and Form 2, the inspection company will carry out the inspection based on common industry or inspection standards.
5) If using common industry or inspection standards or inspecting special products, the inspection company will notify both the buyer and supplier of their inspection proposal. The buyer and supplier will have 24 hours to respond. If they do not respond within 24 hours, they will be considered to have accepted the proposal.
6) Product packaging and quantity inspections are not available for post-delivery product coverage. The packaging and quantity must be confirmed by the buyer and supplier.
7) The English version of the Quality Inspection Standard is for reference only. In the event of a conflict between the English and Chinese version, the Chinese version shall prevail. If there are any changes to the above standards, the changes will be published on the Trade Assurance landing page on Alibaba.com.

Inspection Sampling Standard: ISO 2859
Inspection Type: Final Random Inspection (FRI)
Sampling Procedures: Samples are taken at random according to the international standard ISO 2859 by inspectors. The sample quantity represents the number of samples to be taken from a product lot. The acceptance standard represents the agreed Acceptable Quality Level (AQL), or the maximum acceptable number of major and minor defects.
AQL 0: Critical defects (0 defects allowed)
AQL 2.5: Major defects (check sampling standard below)
AQL 4.0: Minor defects (check sampling standard below)
Critical Defect: A defect likely to result in a hazardous or unsafe condition for an individual using the product or fails to meet mandatory regulations.
Major Defect: A defect that is likely to result in failure, reduce the usability and salability and can easily be detected by the customer.
Minor Defect: A defect that does not reduce the usability of the product, can be noticed only after careful examination, and may reduce the salability. It is a workmanship defect beyond the defined quality standard.
